About Vitamin B1
Vitamin B1 (thiamine hydrochloride) is an essential nutrient involved in a variety of processes throughout the human body, including the body’s use of sugars for energy. It is a water-soluble vitamin of the “B” complex family and is commonly paired with other B vitamins.
Even though vitamin B1 is biologically necessary for all animal life, it is only generated by simple organisms such as plants; and therefore needs to be ingested as food or nutritional supplements.
